FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to WE PRINT SHIRTS!

We’ve answered some of the most common questions about our custom printing services, ordering process, and artwork requirements.

Do you have a minimum order quantity?

We offer No Minimum Order Quantity (No MOQ) on eligible custom printing services! Whether you need just one custom T-shirt or a larger order, we’re happy to help.

Some printing methods, including screen printing, may require minimum quantities.

How do I place an order?
  1. Email us your artwork and project details.
  2. We’ll review your request and provide a quote.
  3. Once you approve the quote, we’ll send you an online invoice.
  4. After full payment is received, production begins.
How long will my order take?

DTF and screen printing orders are typically completed within 3–5 business days, while embroidery orders generally take 7–10 business days. Please note that turnaround times may vary depending on order size and complexity.

Q: What is the difference in quality and durability between DTF, Screen Printing, and Embroidery?

A: All three methods produce excellent results, but each offers unique benefits.

Embroidery: In a class of its own! Embroidery provides a premium, professional finish with exceptional durability. With proper care, embroidered designs can last as long as the garment itself.

DTF (Direct to Film): Produces vibrant, full-colour designs with excellent detail. DTF prints are flexible and durable, with a potential lifespan of approximately 80 washes when properly applied and cared for.Screen Printing: A tried-and-true printing method known for its durability and vibrant colours. High-quality screen prints can withstand approximately 100 washes or more with proper care.

Can I pay when I pick up my order?

Unfortunately, no. Because every order is custom-made, full payment is required before production begins.

Can I use AI to create my design?

Absolutely! AI-generated artwork is welcome.

However, many free AI image generators produce low-resolution files that may not be suitable for printing.

For best results, we recommend:

  • Artwork sized to the intended print dimensions (for example, 11 inches wide).
  • Resolution of 360 DPI at the final print size.
  • A transparent background where appropriate.
  • High-resolution PNG or vector artwork.

We’re happy to review your artwork before production.

Why do I pay setup fees again when reordering screen-printed shirts?

Screen printing requires a physical setup of the printing press for each production run. Setup fees cover the time and materials involved in preparing the equipment. Embroidery is different. Embroidery setup fees generally cover the initial creation of a digital embroidery file, which can be reused for future orders using the same design.

Will printed designs eventually crack or fade?

Over time, both DTF and screen-printed designs may show signs of wear, including fading or cracking. The lifespan depends on how frequently the garment is worn, washed, and cared for.

Our recommendation: To help keep your custom apparel looking its best:

  • Turn garments inside out before washing.
  • Wash in cold water using a gentle cycle.
  • Avoid fabric softeners and bleach.
  • Tumble dry on low heat or, preferably, hang to dry.
  • Never iron directly over a printed design.

A little extra care goes a long way toward keeping your custom apparel looking great!
